Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking a CAD Mechanical Engineer – Glass Systems to join the Vehicle Engineering team. You will design glass system components for current and future vehicle programs and manage CAD delivery models.

In this role you will collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing and integration teams, perform analyses, and support industrialization and production introduction of glazing components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or CAD Mechanical Engineer.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 and product data management tools like Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of plastic component design and vehicle development processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop glass system components within ongoing vehicle programs.
• Create, update, and maintain CAD delivery models.
• Provide technical design support for glass-related components and systems.
• Develop and maintain 3D PMI within CAD models.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Integration teams to secure robust engineering solutions.
• Perform clash analyses and support virtual validation activities prior to releases.
• Update and maintain component templates when required.
• Support engineering and industrialization activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
