Job summary

SeaPattern Sweden AB is seeking a Business Development Intern to work directly with the CCO on commercial strategy and customer development across Europe. The role focuses on site scoping for Swedish rivers, desktop research, and on-site assessments, with involvement in market analysis and customer dialogues.

You will gain hands-on experience while supporting commercial growth in Sweden, Germany, and other international markets, in a 50% to full-time, hybrid setup based in Linköping, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Master's student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and curiosity to learn about the hydropower market.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders credibly.
• Comfortable with data research and Excel for external presentations.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AI tools to accelerate research and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Support site scoping from desktop research to on-site visits assessing Sweden's river sites.
• Collaborate with the technical team to interpret site data and feasibility assessments.
• Maintain and structure a database of scoped sites and next steps.
• Assist in developing SeaPattern's commercial strategy in Sweden, Germany, and Europe.
• Conduct market and customer research within the hydropower sector.
• Identify and map new commercial opportunities with utilities and partners.
• Prepare customer presentations, proposals, and CRM updates.
• Participate in customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
