Job summary

Blykalla in Stockholm is seeking a seasoned Business Controller to join the Finance Team. You will own monthly and quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development across the Group.

You will coordinate accounting, ensure internal controls, support international expansion, and partner with leadership to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience with ability to drive end-to-end processes.
• Experience with internal controls and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly group reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and key financial metrics across the Group.
• Coordinate accounting, financial reporting, audit, annual reporting, tax, and IFRS matters with external firms.
• Develop and maintain the Group’s internal control framework as the organization scales.
• Drive continuous improvement of Finance systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop decision-support tools.
• Support the Group’s international expansion and reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
• Take ownership of day-to-day Finance, collaborating with leadership and external partners.

This is a 14-month temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment. The position is based at our office in Stockholm.
What you’ll get to do

• Own monthly and quarterly group reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and key financial metrics across the Group.
• Coordinate accounting, financial reporting, audit, annual reporting, tax, and IFRS matters together with external accounting firms and advisors.
• Develop and maintain the Group’s internal control framework, ensuring robust financial processes as the organization scales.
• Drive continuous improvement of Finance systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop decision-support tools and KPI frameworks for leadership and project teams.
• Support the Group’s international expansion and develop Finance and reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
• Take ownership of the day-to-day Finance function, acting as the central Finance point of contact across the organization and working closely with leadership, project teams, and external partners.

Who you are

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or business planning.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis, with the ability to independently drive processes from start to finish.
• Comfortable working across accounting, controlling, systems, and business partnering in a fast-moving organization.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with BI/ERP tools is a plus.
• Communicative and collaborative – you create clarity and trust across teams.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
