SAS - Scandinavian Airlines is seeking a Business Controller to support the organization with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will partner with senior leaders to drive performance, develop business cases, and implement reporting tools, including dashboards and KPIs.

This role offers exposure to transformation initiatives across SAS. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate data into insights, influence decisions, and identify profitability and efficiency

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Business Control or similar analytical roles.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with BI tools like Power BI or Anaplan.

We are currently expanding our Business Control team and are looking for a Business Controller to support the SAS organization. Challenges You Will Work On

As a Business Controller, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, acting as a trusted business partner to operational leaders. You will combine analytical excellence with business understanding to improve performance, increase financial transparency, and support initiatives that strengthen SAS’s competitiveness.

This role offers significant exposure to senior leaders across SAS and the opportunity to influence decisions in one of Scandinavia’s most recognized brands.

What You Will Do

The Team

You will join a high-performing and collaborative Business Control team that works closely with leaders and stakeholders throughout SAS. To be successful we believe you have

• 5–7 years of relevant experience within Business Control, Management Consulting, Transaction Services, Audit, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in understanding business drivers.
• Experience from a dynamic and fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience from BI and planning tools such as Power BI, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
• Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.

This role is particularly well suited for individuals looking to take the next step from consulting, audit, transaction services, or a similar analytical environment into a highly business-oriented finance role with significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.
