Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in an international environment.
• Excellent communication and storytelling with data.
• Fluency in English is required; Swedish is a plus.

About the position

Perido are looking for an experienced Business Controller who wants to play a key role in supporting Battery & Charging withinour client’s organization. The company is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and together with partners and customers, they are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. As part of the team, you will interact daily with engineering leaders, project managers, and finance colleagues across the company, giving you a broad network and excellent opportunities for professional development. The position is located at the company’s headquarters in Södertälje.

Your daily tasks

In this role, you will act as a trusted Business Partner to R&D leaders, providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making and contribute to the successful development of future battery and charging solutions. The position includes a variety of ongoing responsibilities within finance and controlling, such as:

• Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Support decision-making through financial analysis, business cases, and scenario assessments
• KPI follow-up, reporting, and presentations
• Contribute to the development of future controlling processes, methods, and tools across company

You will report to the Head of R&D Controlling Battery & Charging and serve as a trusted Business Partner to R&D leaders, contributing to strategic decision-making, financial steering, and business performance as an active member of global management teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling
• An interest in electrification, battery technologies, and the transformation of the commercial vehicle industry
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and drive business performance in a structured and analytical way
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and management teams in a complex and international environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions across both finance and operational functions
• Excellent analytical and digital capabilities, including advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
• High integrity, curiosity, and an interest in understanding products, technology, operations, and the key business drivers behind successful R&D organizations
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to create value through teamwork, networking, and cross-functional cooperation
• Professional fluency in English is required
