Fortum is accelerating the energy transition and seeks a Project Development Manager to lead the BESS development pipeline in Sweden. You will coordinate permitting, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to advance projects from opportunity to approval.

In this role, you will interact with customers and partners to identify flexible capacity needs and craft commercially viable opportunities, working across Fortum's diverse teams in a hybrid work setting.

Formación

• Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, infrastructure, or related project development.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of permitting, land development, infrastructure projects, or energy markets.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive progress in a complex organizational environment.
• Commercial mindset and interest in customer-driven development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while bringing people together around common goals.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate Fortum's BESS development and permitting pipeline and activities in Sweden.
• Drive project development activities from opportunity screening through permitting and development milestones.
• Engage directly with customers and partners to understand flexibility needs and create commercially attractive opportunities.
• Represent our development in customer meetings, stakeholder discussions, and external forums.
• Coordinate development activities across Development, Engineering & Technology, Commercial, Business Development, and Project Execution & Operations.
• Ensure adequate resourcing, prioritization, and progress tracking across involved teams.
• Support business case development and investment decision preparation.
