Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) has a consulting assignment available for an experienced Basetech System Engineer to support an automotive technology organisation working across electrical architecture, embedded systems and vehicle base technologies.

The team develops base technology concepts and requirements and interacts with suppliers across international partners, ensuring V&V activities are performed and technical roadblocks are removed in a dynamic engineering landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with base technologies in the automotive industry.
• Experience with FlexRay, CAN FD, SWDL, Ethernet and PDU routing.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, architecture and/or software.
• Experience with base technology testing and verification tools such as DSA, SPA-DVA or CANoe.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across international teams.
• Comfortable working with international suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of base technology concepts, specifications and requirements.
• Review and follow up on SWIM issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Perform base technology compatibility reviews with suppliers.
• Support base technology testing, verification and validation (V&V) activities.
• Work closely with electrical architecture, software and other engineering teams.
• Collaborate with international colleagues and stakeholders.
• Support platform-related updates driven by base technology requirements across different vehicle products.
• Identify and remove technical roadblocks in a complex and evolving engineering environment.
