Job summary

Consat AB seeks a Senior System Designer / Solution Architect for automotive system design, software function development, connectivity, and digital services. You will craft system-level solutions, define requirements, and shape architectures for complex vehicle systems.

Role involves collaboration with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and suppliers, with a focus on safety, integration, and cross-functional delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a System Designer, Solution Architect, or similar role in automotive.
• Strong design, systemization, modelling, and software function development skills.
• Understanding of vehicle-level architecture, signals, interfaces.
• Requirements engineering, decomposition, traceability expertise.
• Experience with safety-critical systems and ISO 26262 knowledge.
• Experience with telematics, connectivity, digital services, or connected vehicle solutions.
• Knowledge of microservices, cloud technologies, Java, Spring Boot, Linux, networks is a plus.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and document system-level solutions for automotive functions.
• Work with systemization, interfaces, architecture, and function behaviours.
• Support software function development from concept to validation.
• Contribute to safety- and security-related system design per ISO 26262.
• Support integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Communicate system and architecture decisions clearly to developers and stakeholders.
