Automation engineer with experience in PLC programming and commissioning
Do you want to combine programming with practical work in the field – and at the same time contribute to a more energy-efficient future?
We are looking for an automation engineer who wants to be involved in developing smart technical solutions within property automation and energy services, often directly with the end customer. The role suits you who enjoy alternating between writing code and being out in the real world and commissioning facilities.
As an automation engineer, you work with programming control systems, mainly within PLC/DUC – for example Schneider, Beckhoff or similar brands. You are involved all the way from development to commissioning, which means that you work both in the office and on site at the customer.
You will also work with Scada systems in the higher-level environment, where you contribute to creating smart and user-friendly interfaces for control and monitoring.
It is our automation engineers who realize our creative and environmentally smart solutions that create comfort and energy efficiency in properties. You have strong expertise in PLC/DUC programming and will be part of a fantastic team consisting of driven and committed colleagues.
It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of plumbing or practical experience with electrical installations, as this gives you a broader understanding of the entirety of our commitments.
Within SI you are offered mentorship and guidance from experienced project managers, programmers and technology experts. You work in a team with a corporate culture where everyone likes to work together. Opportunity to take part in SI Academy – an internal training program in, among other things, building automation and leadership training.
