Job summary
The European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks an Associate Sector Specialist - Innovative Transport Technologies Deployment to join the MADe division in Luxembourg. You will support appraisal and monitoring of advanced transport technologies across maritime, automotive, rail, and aviation sectors, under senior guidance.

Qualifications
- University degree in engineering, economics or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in innovative transport projects.
- Interest in transport technologies, logistics and shipping decarbonisation.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to synthesize information for appraisal.
- Knowledge of multiple sectors (rail, automotive, aviation, shipping) is a plus.
- Good command of English and French; other EU languages are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to project appraisal and monitoring with market research and data analysis.
- Assess project rationale, viability, and alignment with policy objectives.
- Support due diligence activities, including technical and market assessments.
- Help prepare sector and methodology papers and represent the Bank externally.
