Job summary

Axis Communications AB in Lund is seeking an experienced ASIC SoC System Architect to shape the ARTPEC SoC family. You will lead system-level definition, evaluate IPs, and support RTL teams across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with hardware and software groups, engage with external vendors, and drive architecture choices in areas like interconnect, security, memory, and thermal management. A strong background in ASIC design and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or similar.
• 5+ years of ASIC development experience.
• Strong interest in ASIC system architecture and listed competence areas.
• Excellent presentation and English communication skills.
• Self-driven with leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Overview

Join our team as an ASIC SoC System Architect. We are expanding our dynamic ASIC SoC System Architect team in Lund to help shape the future of our ARTPEC SoC chips. We are passionate about advanced ASIC development and value collaboration where your contributions matter.

What you will do

As an ASIC SoC System Architect, you will play a pivotal role throughout the ASIC project lifecycle. You will specify system-level requirements, define architecture, evaluate and select third-party IPs, and support RTL design and verification teams. You will cooperate with our ASIC vendor during the implementation phase and work closely with internal hardware and software teams.

In this role you will be involved in and/or drive activities within competence areas such as:

• Package and PI/SI
• External interfaces
• Interconnect
• Use-Cases and overall system design
• Security
• Performance
• CPU
• Memory systems
• Qualification
• Prototype testing
• Requirements
• IP evaluations
• Thermal
• Technology evaluations
• Etc.

We are seeking highly motivated engineers with a background within ASIC development such as:

• ASIC Design

Most importantly, you want to grow within the field of ASIC System Architecture. We welcome both junior and senior engineers who bring qualities such as:

• 5+ years of ASIC development experience
