Job summary

Axis Communications AB in Lund is seeking an experienced ASIC SoC System Architect to shape the ARTPEC SoC family. You will lead system-level definition, evaluate IPs, and support RTL teams across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with hardware and software groups, engage with external vendors, and drive architecture choices in areas like interconnect, security, memory, and thermal management. A strong background in ASIC design and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or similar.
• 5+ years of ASIC development experience.
• Strong interest in ASIC system architecture and listed competence areas.
• Excellent presentation and English communication skills.
• Self-driven with leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Specify system-level requirements and define architecture for ASIC projects.
• Evaluate and select third-party IPs and support RTL design/verification.
• Collaborate with internal hardware/software teams and external ASIC vendor.
• Drive competence areas such as interconnect, security, thermal, and technology eval.
• Contribute to a positive team spirit and creative work environment.
