Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Ludvika (and Västerås, Sweden) seeks an Application Support Analyst to support and train users in PLM & Engineering apps, develop documentation, and lead process improvements. The role involves working with Teamcenter, NX, and other PLM tools, plus license management and cross-functional collaboration.

You will engage with global users and power users, participate in projects, and contribute to global knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with PLM & Engineering apps and strong modelling, assemblies and drafting knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of PLM & Engineering apps functionality and standard part libraries, with strong Teamcenter expertise.
• HVDC design and engineering knowledge is a plus.
• Clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional, diverse teams and handle multiple personalities professionally.
• Good written and spoken English; Swedish language skills are a plus.
• ITIL knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and train global PLM & Engineering apps users (e.g. Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, BIM/ACC and Polarion).
• Create and maintain application documentation, guidelines and training materials.
• Support and maintain 3D standard libraries.
• Manage user licenses and access; troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
• Train and support Global users and Power Users across departments.
• Collaborate with 3rd line support (Vendor and Application Suppliers).
• Organize User and Power User meetings and sessions.
• Provide ongoing user support and training to different teams.
• Apply PLM principles and lifecycle management effectively.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Join Hitachi Energy as an Application Support Analyst in Ludvika where you support and train users in PLM & Engineering apps, provide documentation and training materials. As an Application Support Analyst you will also be involved in projects and process and maintaining of it. This role is based in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Responsible for supporting our global PLM & Engineering apps users (e.g. Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, BIM / ACC and Polarion).
• Responsible for application documentation, creation of guidelines and training material.
• Support and maintain our 3D standard libraries.
• User license and access management, solving and managingsupport issuescontinuously.
• Support and train our Global users and Power Users.
• Reportingand collaborating with 3rd line support (Vendor and Application Suppliers).
• Arranging User and Power User meetings.
• Provide user support and training across departments
• Strong understanding of PLM principles and lifecycle management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Your background

• You have beenworking with PLM & Engineering apps for at least 5 years or more.You have a deep knowledge ofPLM & Engineering apps Modelling, assemblies, and drafting.
• Have skills in PLM & Engineering apps functionality and standard part librariesand good knowledge in Teamcenter.
• Knowledge from HVDC design and engineering is qualifying.
• It’s important that you communicate well at all levels of the organization and get your messages across in a logical and clear way.
• You have a high level of integrity and dependabilityand can easily and professionally handle different types of personalities in a diverse and multicultural environment.
• You are a driven, self-motivatedteam playerwithgreat collaborative skills, you listen and evaluate ideas and communicate improvements and development opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written. Able to communicate in Swedish is considered as advantage.
• Should have knowledge of ITIL
