Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika, Sweden seeks a Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Plant Design team. You will perform 3D modeling of parts and assemblies and create 2D drawings for detailed and plant design, collaborating with engineers across disciplines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and experience with NX/TC or similar tools, plus a collaborative mindset and a drive to learn new technologies in HV substations.

How you’ll make an impact

Work in advanced high-end CAD software(s) to perform CAD activities such as 3D-modelling of parts, assemblies and drawings for both details and plant design.Deliver commitments on time and with good quality.Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform Station layout design and detail design of steel structures and other components.Preparing proposals/presentations of engineering projects/programs i.e. provision of bill of materials etc.Preparing project documentation, effective interaction with colleagues from different parts of the company.Work according to safety standards and with mitigation of potential risks.Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
