As a manager and experienced Application Engineer for Power Conversion, Power Quality Industry and Grid Connection you will join a global team shaping the future of reliable, stable, and high-quality power systems. You will work closely with customers and consultants to understand their challenges, guide them early in the process, and design solutions that help them reach their goals. As a dynamic manager, you have a strong drive in combination with customer focus, ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry.
You will have the opportunity to become a trusted technical partner—someone who listens deeply, sees the full picture, and translates complex needs into optimized, cost‑effective solutions. In this role, you will influence both the technology direction and the customer journey, while supporting growth in key segments and individuals aligned with our Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service (GPQSS) strategy.
You will collaborate daily with colleagues across departments as you drive business development and pre‑tender engagement, shape technical strategies, and help customers navigate the future of grid and power quality solutions. This is a role where your expertise matters, your voice is heard, and your impact is felt across projects and markets. Experience from Power Conversion, Power Quality Industry or Grid Connection applications is required for the position, and you will have operational focus driving some of the business pursuits as Application Engineer. Part of the role will also be to build up competence to support market growth for Grid and Power Quality Solutions within the Application Engineering team. You will be part of management team in Application Engineering.
This position is based in Västerås/Solna, Sweden, Mannheim, Germany or Turgi, Switzerland.
