Job summary

Nordnet Bank AB in Stockholm is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team within Data & Insights. You will design and build data structures and data products that the whole company can trust and act on, partnering across teams to understand business needs.

You’ll work with BigQuery, dbt and Looker to ensure data accuracy, accessibility and reliability, while exploring how AI can enhance data and insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
• Skilled in designing and building data warehouses and analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL and hands-on with a modern transformation framework (dbt); plus coding hygiene like version control, testing and reviews.
• Clear communicator who translates complex tech to business stakeholders and vice versa.
• Experience with a Business Intelligence tool (Looker).
• Experience using AI coding assistants and knowing when to trust output.

We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team within Data & Insights. You'd be one of 6 Analytics Engineers in a department that also includes Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts.

• Have 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst or Data Engineer. We care more about the depth of that experience than the exact count.
• Skilled in designing and building data warehouses and analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a modern transformation framework (dbt in our case) plus the engineering habits that come with it: version control, code review, testing.
• A clear communicator who enjoys translating complex tech concepts into plain language for business stakeholders and vice versa.
• Experience with a Business Intelligence tool (we use Looker).
• Use AI coding assistants in your day-to-day work with a feel for when to trust their output.
