NOBA Bank Group seeks a Data Analytics Engineer to advance analytics capabilities, optimize data workflows, and drive cloud-enabled data initiatives. You’ll build analytics layers, collaborate across Risk, Finance, and IT, and contribute to data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Work experience in data/analytics engineering.
• Analytics/data engineering degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in ETL and creating analytics-ready datasets.
• Experience with Databricks, dbt (SQL), Python and BI tools.
• Familiarity with Power BI and similar tools.
• Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian.

About The Role

The Data & Analytics Engineering department comprises specialized teams focused on Data Infrastructure Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Management.

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you'll play a central role in building and optimizing the organization's supporting analytics layer, collaborating across the bank. This role offers broad opportunities to grow and make a tangible impact!

We offer a hybrid working model with two common in-office days. While we value flexibility, we also prioritize collaboration, team-building, and enjoying fikas and after-work gatherings together!

Main Tasks

• Design and implement efficient data models, focusing on analytics workflows and end-user usability.
• Build robust and scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as Risk, Finance, and IT, to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the analytics lifecycle.
• Drive technical improvements, introducing modern tools and processes to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Partner with other engineers to align transformation processes for analytics purposes.

Enjoys working with data & analytics engineering, modern data practices, and creating insights that drive decisions. We believe you are a detail-oriented and proactive person who thrives in a high pace enviroment and enjoy learning new technologies. You approach challenges with a “can-do” attitude and excel in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

For This Role You’ll Need

• Work experience in a similar role within data engineering or analytics engineering
• An academic degree related to analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, designing analytics-ready datasets, and ensuring clean and usable data for stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Databricks, dbt (SQL), python and related reporting tools and languages.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Fluency in English is required, along with fluency in either Swedish or Norwegian.

It’s a Plus If You Have

• Experience with Microsoft’s data stack (Azure, SQL, and other cloud services).
• Experience working with on-prem solutions.
• A background in data roles within the financial sector.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
