Job summary

Nordnet AB in Stockholm is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Analytics Engineering team within Data & Insights. You’d be one of 6 Analytics Engineers in a department with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts.

Your mission is to turn raw information into data products the whole company can trust and act on, shaping how we grow, innovate, and enhance our services. A hybrid workplace and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Analytics Engineer / BI Developer / Data Analyst / Data Engineer
• Experience designing and building data warehouses and analytics platforms
• Strong SQL and hands-on with a modern transformation framework (dbt) and related practices (version control, code reviews, testing)
• Clear communicator translating complex tech to business stakeholders
• Experience with Looker or similar BI tools
• Comfort with using AI coding assistants and knowing when to trust outputs

We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team within Data & Insights. You'd be one of 6 Analytics Engineers in a department that also includes Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts.

You're an empathetic problem solver who likes bringing ideas to the table and working in a way that makes team life easier. We believe most of these describe you:

• Have 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst or Data Engineer. We care more about the depth of that experience than the exact count.

• Skilled in designing and building data warehouses and analytics platforms.

• Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a modern transformation framework (dbt in our case) plus the engineering habits that come with it: version control, code review, testing.

• A clear communicator who enjoys translating complex tech concepts into plain language for business stakeholders and vice versa.

• Experience with a Business Intelligence tool (we use Looker).

• Use AI coding assistants in your day-to-day work with a feel for when to trust their output.
