What you’ll be doing

As an AI Engineer at Coody, you’ll help design and build production-grade AI systems with real end-to-end ownership of the architecture, the code, and the outcomes. Assignments are typically 6–24 months, and as a consultant you’re expected to ramp up quickly and deliver value from day one. While your home base is AI engineering, you’ll work across the broader tech stack; backend services, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and integrations - to ship complete, scalable solutions.

You’ll build and deploy agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered applications in cloud environments, contribute to architecture and evaluation frameworks, and play an active role in a high-trust, high-performing team.

Who you are

We are seeking an AI Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including hands-on work with modern AI systems. You must have a proven ability to get things done.

Here’s what we’re seeking:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful hands-on work in AI/ML engineering

• Proven experience building agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, and LLM-based applications in production

• Solid understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, vector databases, and AI evaluation techniques

• Strong backend engineering skills in Python and/or other relevant languages such as TypeScript, Java, or Scala

• A cloud-native background using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS / GCP / Azure and Terraform - or such

• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

• Based in Sweden: You must have Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
