Job summary

A leading tech consultancy in Sweden seeks a Senior Java Developer to build and scale innovative products. You will have real end-to-end ownership of your work and engage with cloud technologies, ensuring the delivery of robust applications. Required qualifications include at least 5 years of backend development experience in Java, along with a strong background in cloud native solutions. What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Java Developer at Coody, you’ll help build and scale new and existing products with real end-to-end ownership of the service, the code, and the outcomes. Assignments are typically 6–24 months, and as a consultant you’re expected to ramp up quickly and deliver value from day one. While your home base is backend Java, you’ll sometimes work across the full tech stack (e.g., frontend, integrations, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, data flows) to ship complete solutions. You’ll design and build scalable, robust applications in cloud environments, contribute to architecture and testing/automation, and play an active role in a high-trust, high-performing team.

Who you are

We are seeking a Java Software Engineerwith at least 5+ years of experience. You must have a proven ability to get things done. Here’s what we’re seeking:

• 5+ years of experience building backends with Java
• A cloud native background using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS / GCP / Azure and Terraform - or such.
• Experience from additional languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Scala, Kotlin etc. is also appreciated.
• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Based in Sweden: You must have Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
