Job summary

Ericsson Research in Sweden is forming an AI-driven Digital ASIC research activity. This role contributes to a single-tier research team where the expert adds deep specialization and collaborates across architecture, RTL, verification, and physical design.

As part of cross-site efforts (Lund / Lindholmen), you will drive the research deliverables, engage with product teams and external partners, and participate in rotating delivery leadership within ongoing research threads.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated depth in at least one expert area with working competence in adjacent areas, evidenced by tape-outs, publications, or equivalent.
• Ability to work across architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, test and packaging.
• Comfort with a peer-led, one-tier research culture and collaboration across sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-driven methodology research deliverable including characterized design flow and delta to baseline.
• Apply expert areas within research threads and contribute to AI-driven tooling characterization.
• Co-design across the chain and engage with product orgs, tool vendors, and external partners.
