Job summary

If Insurance is seeking an AI Adoption and Transformation Lead to drive the internal AI agenda across the Nordic claims domain. You will identify high-impact opportunities, bridge business value and technology, and guide leaders toward measurable improvements in customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Stockholm-based role with hybrid options, reporting to the Nordic Head of Digital Claims. You will collaborate with data scientists, developers and legal teams to deploy low-code agents

Qualifications

AI Adoption and Transformation Lead

About the role

The insurance landscape is undergoing a massive transformation driven by Artificial Intelligence. At If Insurance, we are leading change within the Claims domain and expanding our Digital Claims unit. We need an ambitious AI professional to unlock the next generation of intelligent claims handling. In this role you will bridge the gap between cutting‑edge technology and business value, ensuring that AI is utilized effectively across all levels of the organization – from the pragmatic implementation of low‑code agents to the most significant strategic AI bets within the Nordic Claims agenda. You will report directly to the Nordic Head of Digital Claims while collaborating closely with stakeholders, other AI specialists and legal teams. This is a unique opportunity to step into a role with strong future leadership potential and to help shape the AI team as it scales.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive the AI Agenda: Identify, scope and execute large‑scale AI initiatives and strategic bets that transform how we handle claims across the Nordics.
• Pragmatic Implementation: Design and deploy agile low‑code solutions and local agents to optimize daily workflows and democratize AI internally.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Connect business units, data science teams and IT to move AI concepts from ideation to production, including sustainable operations and maintenance.
• Guardrails & Best Practices: Ensure AI tools and agents are implemented responsibly, securely and in alignment with enterprise governance.

The Team

The Nordic Digital Claims unit focuses on meeting digital demands with an agile mindset and working methods. It builds and develops digital offerings to create excellent customer experiences, efficient solutions and high‑quality claims decisions. Primary delivery is through Agile development teams, but this role will serve as a key enabler for bringing in new technology or opening up for new use cases.

You have a technical understanding and enjoy exploring how emerging technologies create business value. You are proactive, analytical, and able to structure complex problems, evaluate opportunities and turn insights into action. You are a strong communicator, comfortable facilitating collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups, and combine strategic thinking with a practical approach to driving adoption and change. • Technical understanding to engage in meaningful dialogue with data scientists, developers and architects – and build low‑code agents without needing to code or build models yourself.
• Experience in driving transformation and change management.

Core Competencies

• Pragmatic AI Implementation: Proven ability to deploy AI solutions (e.g., low‑code agents) into production environments and map them directly to operational efficiency and business value.
• Process Automation & Design: Strong eye for analysing existing claims workflows and identifying where AI or agentic automation can eliminate friction.
• Adoption & Change Management: Ability to support and upskill local teams, ensuring new AI tools and low‑code solutions are adopted and utilized in daily operations.
• Agentic Architecture: Understanding of how to build, orchestrate and optimise AI agents to automate complex multi‑step processes.
• Experience with Low‑Code/No‑Code AI Platforms: Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform or similar enterprise automation suites.

Primary location is Stockholm, Bergshamra. For the right candidate the position can also be considered in Gothenburg (Mölndal). Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
