Job summary

EDAG Group in Sweden seeks an ADAS Verification & Validation Engineer for a consultant assignment. You will verify and validate advanced driver assistance functions with hands-on vehicle testing on proving grounds and public roads, supported by simulation where needed.

You will plan, execute, and evaluate tests, analyze logs and data, and provide feedback to development teams to improve vehicle functions and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Automation & Control, or equivalent.
  • Experience in complete vehicle testing within ADAS, Active Safety, Automated Driving, or similar vehicle functions.
  • Experience planning, preparing, executing, and documenting vehicle tests.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation methodologies.
  • Ability to assess both technical function performance and customer experience aspects.
  • Experience analyzing logs and test data for troubleshooting and performance evaluation. Understanding of automotive communication systems, diagnostics, and data logging.
  • Experience with automotive tools such as CANoe, CANape, INCA, DLT or equivalent tools.
  • Basic scripting or automation experience, preferably Python.
  • Experience working in cross-functional development environments.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid Swedish B driving license.

Responsibilities

About the Assignment

We are currently looking for an ADAS Verification & Validation Engineer for an exciting consultant assignment with our customer.

In this role, you will verify and validate advanced driver assistance functions, with a strong focus on hands-on vehicle testing and real-world driving scenarios. You will plan, prepare, execute, and evaluate tests in complete vehicles, both on proving grounds and public roads, while also utilizing simulation and test rigs when needed.

You will analyze function performance, robustness, usability, and overall customer experience, providing structured feedback to development teams to support continuous product improvement.
