Job summary

Contechs in Gothenburg is seeking an ADAS Feature Engineer to secure the launch of our ADAS functions into the EU market. The role focuses on L2 functionality and cross-brand support across our ADAS portfolio.

You will work with benchmarking, performance issues, validation, and regulatory alignment to meet European customer expectations. The position includes travel within Europe and collaboration with Chinese counterparts and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience within ADAS and vehicle testing on European market.
• Swedish driver license is required.
• Experience with ADAS behavior in complete vehicles for European customers.
• Hands-on experience with Canalyzer, Canoe, DSA and SystemWeaver.

Responsibilities

• Raise new functional requirements based on benchmarking, performance issues and market needs.
• Verify functions personally or via validation engineers.
• Validate functions to meet European customer expectations.
• Analyze test results and manage issues for EU market and regulations with suppliers.
• Support homologation and EU-NCAP activities with project teams and external partners.

As an ADAS EU Feature Engineer your role will be to secure the launch of our ADAS functions into the European market. The role will be based in Gothenburg Sweden.

Your main focus will be our L2 functionality and launching this into EU, but we work cross-functional, so you will support with most of our ADAS functions in all brands.

Job Description

As ADAS Feature Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• With input from benchmarking, performance issue and market need raise new functional requirements towards our Chinese counterparts and suppliers.
• Verify functions, both yourself or by our validation engineers.
• Validate functions to ensure that they meet the expectations of the European customer.
• Analysis of test results and Issue management based on needs for European market and regulation, towards our Chinese counterparts and suppliers.
• Support activities connected to homologation and EU-NCAP together with project and external test partners1.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience within ADAS including vehicle testing on European market, preferable working closely with L2 functionality
• Swedish driver license is a must
• Good knowledge of ADAS behavior in complete vehicles and as a European customer.
• Experience in Canalyzer, Canoe, DSA and SystemWeaver
