Job summary

Juni is hiring an accountant to join our growing Finance team in a role focused on general accounting, month-end tasks, and revenue reconciliation. You will work on balance sheet reviews, employee expense controls, billing, and VAT returns while supporting the rollout of finance improvement initiatives.

The role involves testing new product features affecting customers, ad-hoc analysis, and assisting with the annual statutory audit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Business Administration with an accounting orientation.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, strong communication.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a financial superstar to join our growing Finance team. If you are looking for a new adventure as an accountant, and to make a difference in a business with constant changes and great growth potential, then this is the role for you. We have many exciting & challenging projects which we would like you to be involved in, including the development of our features and new products. As Juni is a product for finance teams, The below responsibilities are only a small sample of what you will be working on.
Responsibilities In This Role, You’ll

• General Accounting and assistance in the preparation of management accounts
• Month-end accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations
• Revenue reconciliation and preparation of accounting entries
• Various Balance Sheet items reviews
• Ensure that all employee expenses have been pre-approved, have occurred in the normal course of business, and have supporting documentation
• Billing
• Support your line manager to develop and implement processes, systems and policies in line with the finance improvement plans
• VAT Returns preparation
• Testing of new Product features that impact our customers
• Ad-hoc analysis as required
• Assistance with the Annual Statutory audit and preparation of financial statements

Qualifications What We Need To See

• You hold a degree in Finance or Business administration with an accounting orientation
• You are detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and spoken English and Swedish skills
• A problem solving, hands on and common sense approach, not afraid to talk to multiple stakeholders and challenge their responses
