Job summary

Frey recruitment is seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer for a private yacht with a USA-Caribbean itinerary. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year as an engineer, AEC 1+2, and is active and fit, with a sailing background preferred.

True non-smoker with no visible tattoos, and a B1/B2 visa in hand is preferred. Start by September; holiday allowance starts at 45 days and increases to 60 days in year two, with a strong mentorship program aboard.

Qualifications

• Must be true non-smoker
• No visible tattoos
• Available to start by September
• Active and fit, crew enjoy surfing/kiteboarding
• Experience on yachts preferred
• Sailing background preferred or dinghy background
• B1/B2 visa preferred
• Experience with East Coast USA/Caribbean programme preferred
• 45 days holiday in Year 1, increasing to 60 days in Year 2
• Minimum qualification: AEC 1 + 2
• At least 1 year as an engineer
