Setec Middle East (ME), as a subsidiary of the setec Group, is specialized in civil engineering (transportation, energy, industrial and hydraulic infrastructure), building engineering, bridges, underground structures, nuclear infrastructures, urban planning, electrical and electromechanical facilities, safety within civil engineering infrastructures and their users, maintenance and rehabilitation of infrastructures.

Furthermore, Setec ME offers an environmental scope of services and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to our regional clients.

We are looking for our IT Manager/Administrator (based in our setec Middle East HQ office in Riyadh).

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure to support business operations.
• Manage the implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and enforce IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee incident management and ensure timely resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Oversee the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Ensure IT operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the IT team in Paris to implement and maintain security protocols, including data protection, access control, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and respond to any security incidents.
• Continuously assess and improve IT processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and present regular reports on IT operations, including performance metrics, incident reports, and project status updates.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Min. 3 years’ experience in IT field.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage projects across multiple sites (we have projects & offices in several towns in the Kingdom).
• Ability to work independently and manage IT operations without a dedicated team initially.

• Proven experience in IT operations management, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
