A leading energy firm in KSA is looking for a Scouring Buyer to oversee purchasing activities and develop procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience with 5 years in procurement, strong autonomy, and excellent analytical skills. Knowledge of SAP and fluency in English are required. This role supports efficient resource usage and supplier management.
Position Title: Scouring Buyer
Reports to: Procurement Manager
Department: procurement
Hay Level: 16
Support the business development team in large packages, jointly with central BU Procurement team, for O&M costing when required (e.g., pricing, suppliers, potential synergies with existing projects).
Contribute to the selection and implementation of country tools required in the organization in line with the country and BU strategy.
Development and further professionalization of the department, including identification of local talent for the future.
KSA HQ Procurement
Ensure compliance with governance.
Continuously improve the process: efficiency, tools, training of the team.
One FTE is required to support procurement manager in sourcing spare parts and services at the lowest cost of accusation.
