Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a senior tax leader to oversee a portfolio of corporate tax, Zakat and VAT engagements. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Engagement Partner on complex tax positions, structuring and risk matters, while leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary tax teams.

You will also manage engagement economics, including budgeting, resourcing, billing and profitability, and drive business development with senior client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate tax, Zakat, VAT and transfer pricing.
• Professional certification required: SOCPA, CPA, CTA or ACCA.
• Strong leadership with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent English; Arabic proficiency beneficial.

Job description

Overseeing a portfolio of complex corporate tax, Zakat, and VAT engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability. Acting as key advisor to the Engagement Partner on complex tax positions, structuring, and risk matters. Leading, mentoring, and developing tax teams. Serving as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including CFOs and Tax Committees. Directing engagement economics, including budgeting, resourcing, billing, and profitability. Leading complex tax audits, disputes, and negotiations with ZATCA on behalf of clients. Driving business development, including leading proposals and expanding existing client relationships. Partnering with the Partner group on strategic initiatives, practice growth, and talent strategy.

Qualifications

• Years of experience: 8+ Years in corporate tax, Zakat, VAT and Transfer pricing, including 2-3 years at Manager level.
• Professional certification: SOCPA, CPA, CTA, or ACCA (required).
• Deep expertise in Saudi tax, Zakat, VAT, and cross-border tax matters.
• Demonstrated track record managing complex client portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
• English level - Excellent; Arabic - Good.
