Job summary

A leading project quality assurance firm located in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a QC Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with welding standards. The role includes inspecting welding activities, coordinating with fabrication teams, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate must have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a valid CSWIP 3.1 certification, and 3–7 years of relevant experience in oil & gas or heavy fabrication. Strong knowledge of welding processes and excellent documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.1 certification is mandatory.
• 3–7 years of experience as a QC Welding Inspector.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes like SMAW and GTAW.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welding activities for compliance with approved WPS and project specifications.
• Verify welder qualifications and ensure certified welders perform the work.
• Monitor storage conditions and traceability of welding consumables.
