Job summary

Sika is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising daily operations in warehouse and shipping, ensuring accuracy in shipments, and developing work instructions.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field, along with 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least one year in a supervisory position. Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English are essential.

Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
  • While receiving material, ensure products are in accordance with Purchase Orders and in good condition. Any discrepancy must be reported immediately to the Purchase Department.
  • Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands.
  • Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
  • Recommend measures to improve quality of service, increase efficiency of the department and work crew and equipment performance.
  • Continuously improve warehouse operations.
  • Conferring with his Manager to coordinate activities of individual departments and serve internal customers.
  • Monitor stock going to expire in the coming three months and report to his Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and, in case of any drop below minimum level, immediately report to his Manager.
  • Arrange delivery of material to customers according to service level agreements. Any delay in delivery must be reported immediately to the concerned Sales Engineer.
  • Maintain a service log book for each vehicle and ensure all vehicles are kept clean and in working condition.
  • Maintain a record of all monthly deliveries made by each driver.
  • Monitor daily attendance of all subordinates and, if there are any absentees or sickness, report to HR with a copy to his Manager.
  • Maintain and ensure that all warehouse premises is clean and fully equipped with all safety tools and first aid facilities.
  • Help in quarterly/yearly stock taking.
  • Maintain a record of GRNs and send copies to the Purchase Department.
  • Maintain a record of all signed Delivery Orders and Sales Invoices and send a copy to the Regional Customer Service Representative.
Qualifications
Educational Credentials
  • Bachelor degree or high diploma in Supply Chain or related field.
Work Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse experience (including 1+ year of previous supervisory experience).
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
