Job summary

CodeNinja Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Specialist with deep experience in Design Systems to join one of our leading banking clients onsite in Riyadh. You will own the design system across digital channels, ensuring consistent, accessible, and scalable customer experiences.

Responsibilities include building reusable UI components, defining design tokens, and guiding teams on governance, adoption and documentation. Fluent Arabic and English are required for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Arabic proficiency is mandatory and English proficiency is required.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Design Systems.
• Advanced Figma skills including components, variants and design tokens.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design.
• Experience partnering with developers to implement scalable components.
• Experience documenting and governing design standards across multiple products.

About the Role
We're looking for a UI/UX Specialist with deep experience in Design Systems to join one of our leading clients onsite. You'll own the bank’s design system across its digital channels and keep the customer experience consistent, accessible and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and keep improving the design system across all digital channels.
• Create reusable UI components, design patterns and guidelines that keep customer experiences consistent.
• Define and manage design tokens, including typography, colors, spacing and iconography.
• Make sure UI components meet accessibility, usability and responsive design requirements on all screen sizes.
• Work with UX designers, developers and product teams to match design components to how they're built.
• Maintain component libraries in Figma, with clear documentation on usage, behavior and interaction states.
• Set up governance processes for component contributions, reviews, approvals, versioning and retirement.
• Audit digital products to find inconsistencies, and help teams move to approved components.
• Help teams adopt the design system through training, onboarding and ongoing guidance.
• Track component adoption, design consistency and gains in design and development efficiency.
• Make sure design standards match the brand identity and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Arabic proficiency is mandatory. You need excellent spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong, in-depth hands-on experience building and maintaining Design Systems.
• Advanced Figma skills, including component libraries, variants and design tokens.
• Solid knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), usability principles and responsive design.
• Experience working closely with developers to turn designs into scalable, production-ready components.
• Experience documenting and governing design standards across several products or teams.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
• Able to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
