QIMA in Yanbu al-Bahr is seeking a skilled English-Chinese Translator and Interpreter to support our Factory Auditors. This full-time on-site role focuses on accurate translation of audit reports, technical documents, and meetings to facilitate clear communication.

You will interpret during audits, maintain records, and help ensure confidentiality and cultural sensitivity. A Bachelor’s degree in Translation or related field is preferred, with proven translation/interpretation experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Chinese with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in translation/interpretation, preferably in corporate or industrial setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certification or accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translation of written materials: audit reports, technical documents, correspondence, and policies from English to Chinese and vice versa with precision.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional English Chinese Translator and Interpreter to collaborate closely with our team of Factory Auditors. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between auditors and factory personnel through accurate translation and interpretation of written documents and verbal exchanges.

Key Responsibilities

• Translation of Written Documents: Translate various written materials such as audit reports, technical documents, correspondence, and policies from English to Chinese and vice versa with precision and clarity.
• Interpretation in Audits: Accompany auditors during factory visits and provide real‑time interpretation services during meetings, interviews, and discussions between auditors and factory staff.
• Language Support: Assist auditors in understanding Chinese‑language documents, regulations, and cultural nuances relevant to the audit process.
• Communication Liaison: Act as a bridge between English‑speaking auditors and Chinese‑speaking factory personnel to ensure smooth communication and understanding on both sides.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of translated documents and interpretation sessions for reference and reporting purposes.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Chinese languages, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
