Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a qualified Traffic Inspector to support traffic management on active road construction sites in Riyadh. You will inspect traffic arrangements, ensure TMP compliance, monitor on-site traffic flow, and coordinate with contractors and authorities to maintain safety and compliance.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on site experience, knowledge of traffic control devices, and the ability to enforce Traffic Management Plans on live traffic environments within Saudi

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on site experience in traffic inspection or traffic diversions on road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of traffic control devices, road safety procedures and diversion execution.
• Experience working with live traffic environments and fast-paced construction sites.
• Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Management Plans.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify traffic diversion setups on site as per approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
• Monitor live traffic conditions and recommend corrective actions to ensure smooth flow and safety.
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of signage, barriers, cones, delineators, and lighting.
• Conduct site assessments to identify risks and provide solutions for safe vehicle and pedestrian movement.
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and government authorities on diversion arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Report non-conformities and follow up on rectifications.
• Prepare daily site inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
