Job summary

Alstom in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a CAD/BIM Coordinator for Track & 3rd Rail to join our on-site project team. You will manage CDE, BIM processes, and coordinate multidisciplinary design across civil, electrical interfaces, and rail systems.

You’ll lead design integration, run clash detection, reviews of models, and support Construction & Delivery Managers with integrated design delivery across Tram/Metro projects. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in engineering/technical functions on projects.
• Knowledge of civil and electrical design, especially with rack & 3rd Rail installation and interfaces with Civil Works.
• In-depth working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and ProjectWise.
• Experience with Infra products for rack & 3rd Rail installations in various market segments (Tram, Metro, Mainline).
• Fluency in English.

• Using the CDE (Common Data Environment) to apply codification and processes.
• Authoring and reviewing integration requirements.
• Delivering project BIM processes, methodologies, and guidance for collaborative production and data delivery.
• Directing project modeling tactics and BIM outputs through all project stages.
• Coordinating sub-systems design, clash detection, and volume clearance checking.
• Leading integration design and build meetings.
• Reviewing submitted models for interferences and quality of details.
• Managing configuration of designs received from Civil Works and ensuring necessary modifications.
• Supporting Construction & Delivery Managers in reviewing Civil Works delivery in alignment with integrated design.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation by ensuring the seamless integration of design and engineering processes for rack & 3rd Rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Sig,Coms, civil and MEP partners/contractors), lead integration design and build meetings, and manage the coordination of multidisciplinary design and modeling efforts to achieve project goals. You’ll specifically take care of managing the Common Data Environment (CDE) for the project and delivering BIM processes and methodologies, but also oversee the coordination of civil and electrical interfaces with other rail systems. We’ll look to you for:
