Job description

In this role, your efforts will directly impact the lives of patients. You will play a crucial role in promoting our innovative products and fostering strong connections with healthcare professionals in Riyadh.

Your new role

As a Therapy Area Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and establishing robust relationships within your assigned territory.

Your main accountabilities will include:
  • Promoting and selling Novo Nordisk's products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and public institutions.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to reach potential customers while managing existing relationships.
  • Visiting specialists, physicians, pharmacies, and distributors to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Responding to customer inquiries, negotiating competitive prices and delivery times, and closing sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Identifying prospective customers and cultivating positive relationships that lead to future sales and repeat business.

Your skills & qualifications

We expect you to be holding a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and you are certified to work.

You also have:

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales within international pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in public sector is an advantage.
  • Saudi nationality.
  • Intermediate computer skills are required (Windows, Word, and Excel); prior computer experience using sales data/call reporting software will be ideal.

As a professional, you are a proactive self-starter, able to independently evaluate options and find resolutions with minimal supervision. Your aptitude for learning allows you to effectively communicate complex technical, scientific, and disease management information, along with the product's value proposition.
