Telecom Engineers & Riggers (Core Engineer, Telecom Engineer & Rigger)

IENG KSA is expanding its telecommunications operations and is seeking qualified professionals to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of critical telecom network infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. This recruitment drive offers opportunities for experienced Core Engineers, Telecom Engineers, and Riggers to contribute to large‑scale network projects in a fast‑paced and technology‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Core Engineer

• Operate, maintain, and optimize mobile core network platforms and services.
• Troubleshoot network faults and service‑impacting issues across CS Core, PS Core, EPC, IMS, or 5G Core environments.
• Analyze network performance and implement corrective actions to improve KPIs.
• Support software upgrades, integrations, migrations, and network expansions.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.

Telecom Engineer

• Support deployment, integration, and maintenance of telecom network infrastructure.
• Perform network commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
• Assist with transmission, IP, radio, and access network implementation projects.
• Conduct site surveys, acceptance testing, and technical quality assurance activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and implementation records.

Rigger

• Perform tower climbing and telecom equipment installation activities.
• Install antennas, feeders, microwave dishes, RRUs, and related infrastructure.
• Execute cable routing, grounding, labeling, and site housekeeping activities.
• Support commissioning teams during integration and testing exercises.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (engineering roles).
• Proven experience in telecommunications operations, deployment, maintenance, or project delivery.
• Strong understanding of telecom network technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience working in mobile, fixed, fiber, transmission, or core network environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Understanding of telecom safety and quality standards.
• For Rigger positions, experience with telecom tower work, equipment installation, and working at heights is essential.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, or ZTE telecom solutions.
• Knowledge of 4G LTE, VoLTE, 5G, IP Networking, Transmission, or Fiber technologies.
• Telecom vendor certifications or industry‑recognized technical certifications.
• Experience supporting large‑scale telecom rollout or modernization projects.
• Health & Safety certifications related to field operations and tower climbing.
