Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee telecom network operation contracts within the OPEX domain. The role includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and optimizing O&M and managed-service agreements across Mobile Access, Core, Transport, and related services.

You will lead RFP/RFQ processes, monitor SLAs/KPIs, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost reductions through BoQ reviews and contract governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of telecom ops and contract management experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing complex O&M and managed-service contracts.
• Strong knowledge of BoQ preparation, cost analysis, and payment mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and support negotiation of telecom network operations contracts including O&M, SLA, KPIs.
• Define and manage contractual terms, service scopes, deliverables, escalation mechanisms and vendor obligations.
• Manage vendor relationships and performance through reviews, reporting, escalation and enforcement of contracts.
• Support OPEX optimization by reviewing service models, BoQs, and costs.
• Lead or support RFP/RFQ preparation and evaluation for large-scale telecom contracts.
• Evaluate proposals and negotiate for large-value telecom contracts.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, operational, and vendor risks.
