Job summary

United Motors Company in Dammam is seeking an Auto Mechanic to perform vehicle inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards. You will use diagnostic tools, follow repair procedures, document work, and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.

  • Diploma or technical certificate in Automotive Technology, Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience as an Auto Mechanic, preferably within an automotive dealership or authorized service center.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and automotive diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs
  • Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical faults and maintenance requirements
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out repairs and replacement of defective mechanical components
  • Perform oil changes, brake servicing, suspension repairs, cooling system maintenance, and other general mechanical work
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical specifications, and dealership standards
  • Use workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems safely and correctly
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after repairs to ensure the work has been completed properly
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work performed
  • Communicate identified vehicle issues and additional repair requirements to the Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor
  • Ensure all work is completed within the assigned time and productivity standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and environmental requirements
