Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group in Jeddah is looking for a senior Technical Manager to lead engineering delivery and quality oversight for major infrastructure and urban development programs. You will supervise technical teams, review studies, and ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, change management, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve engineering and quality issues, delivering value across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of infrastructure construction supervision or related roles.
• Proven experience on major infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, urban development).
• Experience reviewing studies and designs against standards and specs.
• Strong knowledge of project quality management, inspections, audits and QA processes.
• Familiar with non-conformance management and corrective actions.
• Experience driving process improvements and change management.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Technical Managers to support the engineering, construction oversight, and quality management of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The role covers infrastructure delivery, technical design review, project quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical delivery and supervision of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage channels, and urban development programmes.
• Review and evaluate engineering studies, design submissions, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable design standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality through inspections, testing, audits, and quality assurance processes.
• Identify and manage non-conformances and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Review project processes and implement improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Support change management initiatives and continuous improvement across infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and technical stakeholders to address engineering and quality-related issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision, engineering design oversight, project quality management, or related technical functions.
• Demonstrated experience in major infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage, or urban development programmes.
• Experience reviewing engineering studies and designs against applicable standards and technical requirements.
• Experience in project quality management, inspections, testing, audits, and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of quality management tools, non-conformance management, and corrective action implementation.
• Experience improving project processes and supporting change management initiatives.
