Job summary

Luxoft in Riyadh seeks a Team Lead – Trade Finance to bridge business stakeholders and TI teams on Finastra Trade Innovation implementations, upgrades and enhancements. You will own requirements end to end, from current-state analysis and fit-gap through configuration support, testing and go-live.

The ideal candidate knows trade products and ICC rules, and understands TI modules, data, interfaces, and integrations well enough to shape practical solutions for regulatory reporting, AML controls,

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of IT experience with a focus on trade finance platforms.
• Deep expertise in Finastra Trade Innovation and related operations.
• Hands-on TI Plus/Plus2 or Fusion TI across multiple deployments.
• Strong knowledge of TI modules and data/configuration.
• Familiarity with TI integration options and corporate portals.
• Understanding ICC rules and SWIFT messaging for trade finance.
• Knowledge of supply chain finance is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into TI configurations.

Responsibilities

• Define product setup in the trade system, including data and workflows.
• Specify interfaces between TI and core banking, GL, payments, and AML controls.
• Define SWIFT mappings for MT7xx, MT4xx and MT798.
• Support data migration and cut-over planning.
• Prepare test scenarios and oversee UAT and defect triage.
• Contribute to upgrades, regression testing, and production support.
• Act as functional liaison between business users, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Ensure compliance with trade rules and regulatory reporting.
• Create training materials and release notes.
• Monitor system health and manage incident resolution.

We are hiring a Team Lead – Trade Finance who will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams on Finastra Trade Innovation implementations, upgrades and enhancements. You will own requirements end to end, from current-state analysis and fit-gap through configuration support, testing and go-live.The ideal candidate knows trade products and ICC rules as well as an operations user, and knows Trade Innovation's product modules, static data and integrations well enough to shape practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• - Define product setup in the trade system, including product types, events and steps, static data, charges and tariffs, accounting postings, and workflows.- Specify interfaces between the trade system and core banking, limits/credit, general ledger, payments, sanctions screening, document management, and corporate channels.- Define SWIFT message mappings for MT7xx, MT4xx, and MT798 (corporate-to-bank) flows, including validation rules.- Support data migration by mapping legacy transactions, establishing reconciliation rules, and planning cut-over activities.- Prepare test scenarios covering complete transaction lifecycles, such as issue, amendment, document presentation, discrepancies, payment, settlement, and expiry.- Support system integration testing, coordinate user acceptance testing with operations users, and triage defects with development and vendor teams.- Contribute to version upgrades, regression testing, and provide production support for complex functional issues.- Act as the functional liaison for business users, vendors, and delivery teams.- Ensure solutions comply with trade rules, regulatory reporting, and internal compliance requirements including AML, sanctions, and trade-based money laundering controls.- Produce training materials, user guides, and release notes; conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.- Manage incident and problem resolution by logging, categorizing, tracking, reproducing, diagnosing, and resolving issues, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.- Monitor system health, transaction flows, interfaces, end-of-day processing, and batch jobs; oversee failure recovery and detect anomalies to prevent business impact.- Perform configuration changes and parameter maintenance to support new products, mandates, and regulatory updates.- Manage production releases and change control processes; apply and test fixes, patches, and minor enhancements; support maintenance across production and non-production environments.

Must have

• 7-12 years of total working experience in IT
• Deep Expertise in Finastra Trade Innovation and Trade Finance Operations.
• Deep Trade Innovation functional and technical knowledgeFinastra Trade Innovation
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Finastra Trade Innovation (TI Plus, TI Plus2 or Fusion Trade Innovation), ideally across two or more implementations or upgrades.
• Working knowledge of TI modules: Import and Export LCs, Standby LCs, Guarantees (issued and received), Import and Export Collections, Shipping Guarantees, Trade Loans/Financing and Bills discounting.
• Understanding of TI static data, customer and account setup, charges and tariffs, posting/accounting rules, event and step workflow, and user roles.
• Familiarity with TI integration options (web services, message queues, file-based interfaces) and the TI Corporate Portal or bank's own corporate channel.Trade finance domain
• Strong grasp of the full lifecycle of documentary credits, guarantees, collections and trade financing products.
• Working knowledge of ICC rules: UCP 600, ISBP 821, URDG 758, ISP98, URC 522, URR 725, eUCP and Incoterms 2020.
• SWIFT Category 4 and 7 messages and MT798; awareness of trade digitisation (MLETR, electronic bills of lading).
• Knowledge of supply chain finance (payables, receivables, invoice financing) is an advantage.
