Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group seeks a Group Director of Supply Chain to provide strategic leadership across procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management. You will align group objectives, standardize best practices, and drive efficiency and regulatory compliance across all entities.

You will oversee performance metrics, vendor governance, and digital transformation initiatives while collaborating with Finance, HR, Quality, and Operations to support clinical and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field with extensive supply chain leadership experience.
• Master’s degree preferred for senior strategic roles.
• Experience leading multi-entity healthcare supply chains with governance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for group-wide supply chain functions.
• Ensure integration and alignment of procurement, warehousing, logistics, and planning across entities.
• Oversee regulatory compliance (MOH, SFDA, CBAHI, JCIA) and governance structures.
• Develop and monitor group KPIs, drive cost efficiency, and promote data-driven decisions.
• Lead system integration, automation, and reporting improvements across entities.
• Support cross-entity collaboration and succession planning for staff.

Job description

To provide strategic leadership and direction for all supply chain functions across Fakeeh Care Group, including procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management. The role ensures group-wide alignment of supply chain strategies, promotes standardization and best practices across entities, and drives operational excellence, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The Group Director fosters collaboration between entity teams and ensures the effective delivery of high-quality, reliable, and sustainable supply chain services to support the Group’s clinical and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Strategic Leadership & Oversight:

• Develop and implement group-wide supply chain strategies aligned with Fakeeh Care’s mission, vision, and corporate objectives.
• Ensure integration and alignment of procurement, warehousing, logistics, and planning functions across all entities.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier consolidation, and long-term value creation.
• Establish group-wide policies, standards, and performance frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency.

2. Operational Governance & Compliance:

• Oversee supply chain operations across all entities to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and corporate requirements (MOH, SFDA, CBAHI, JCIA).
• Monitor performance metrics and compliance audits across procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
• Ensure proper governance structures for contract management, vendor selection, and ethical procurement practices.
• Coordinate with entity leadership to resolve complex operational or compliance-related issues.

3. Performance & Process Improvement:

• Develop and monitor group-level KPIs to track performance, cost efficiency, and service quality.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across all supply chain functions.
• Optimize cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory turnover, and procurement lead time through best practices and digital transformation.
• Lead initiatives to enhance system integration, automation, and reporting capabilities across entities. <
• Provide leadership and guidance to entity supply chain directors and managers.
• Build strong cross-entity collaboration and knowledge-sharing frameworks.
• Promote succession planning, professional development, and skills enhancement for supply chain staff.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and service excellence across all supply chain teams.
• Collaborate with corporate and entity leaders (Finance, HR, Quality, Operations) to align supply chain priorities with Fakeeh Care Group goals.
• Prepare and present performance reports, risk assessments, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
• Represent the Supply Chain Group in executive meetings, committees, and corporate initiatives.

6. Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple entities or a large-scale healthcare organization.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Language:

• Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
