The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt across diverse product types and supplier capabilities.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure supplier readiness and alignment with product requirements.
  • Support early design reviews and DFM discussions, incorporating lessons learned and driving manufacturability improvements.
  • Develop and execute quality plans, including inspection criteria, test methods, and gaging strategies.
  • Facilitate APQP deliverables and PPAP submissions, ensuring timely and complete documentation from suppliers.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for supplier quality issues, driving containment and long‑term resolution.
  • Conduct supplier audits and process assessments, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support build events and incoming inspection setup, ensuring quality controls are in place and effective.
  • Manage change control activities related to supplier components, ensuring traceability and alignment with engineering updates.
  • Travel up to 30% globally to support supplier development and issue resolution.
You Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrialization within automotive or high‑volume production environments.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and inspection methods for molded and assembled components.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPC, MSA, DOE, and capability analysis.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, and quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Smartsheets, Minitab, JIRA, or Tableau is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
