Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, seeks an International Supplier Assurance Engineer (SAE) to serve as the primary quality interface between Raytheon and the supply base. The SAE will execute supplier assessments, first article inspection verification, source inspection, problem resolution and continuous improvement activities at suppliers.

This on-site role at a subcontractor facility requires managing and developing the in-country subcontractor while coordinating with Raytheon

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management and working with suppliers to meet Raytheon and customer requirements.
• Experience with aerospace/defense regulations and standards (AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000/1, AS9145).
• Ability to pass a relevant background check.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years experience
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management working with suppliers to understand and develop product to Raytheon and customer requirements
• Experience with commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and/or standards of a commercial equivalent with any of the following: AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, ISO-9001, AS9145
• Experience with Military/Defense or Aerospace Industry specifications/standards
• The ability to pass a relevant background check.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with any combination of the following: control sections, energetics, propulsion, mechanical assemblies, circuit card assemblies, and testing
• Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques
• Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with customers or partners (both internal and external to Raytheon)
• International Experience, preferably in defense industry
• Experience working with Government Agencies in a production floor environment (such as DCMA, MDA, etc.)
• Practical knowledge of Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.
