Job summary

NADEC is seeking a Supervisor – Engineering Projects in Saudi Arabia to coordinate and supervise project execution from design review through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams across Dairy, Juice, Beverage, Food Processing, Utilities, Packaging, and Infrastructure, monitoring schedules, reviewing drawings, and ensuring adherence to HSE and food safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2-3 years of experience in engineering projects or related environments.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership required.
• Experience with contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering projects involving Dairy, Juice, Beverage, Food Processing, Utilities, Packaging, and Infrastructure installations.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and contractor performance.
• Review and interpret engineering documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, utility layouts, and electrical drawings.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation installation activities.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation, and production trial activities.
• Support automation and controls testing, including PLC I/O verification, HMI testing, and safety circuit validation.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, engineering drawings, commissioning reports, and handover dossiers.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, risks, and recovery plans to support successful project delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 2-3 years of experience in engineering projects, maintenance, manufacturing, utilities, automation, or facility-related environments.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Membership is required.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, project execution, installation supervision, and commissioning activities.
• Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
