Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in testing or design/construction of substations.
• Experience with protection relays is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and standards.
• Ability to read SLDs and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Study contract scope, standards, and interfaces for testing.
• Prepare site test procedures and formats per recommendations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Arrange test equipment and verify documentation availability.
• Test protection relays and HV/LV equipment and certify energization.
• Investigate malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client for outages, permits, and access.
• Ensure safety rules followed and QA/QC processes maintained.
