Job summary

HMH is seeking a Structural Service Engineer to conduct on-site inspections of structural and piping components in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and provide drafting and engineering support to the department.

The role involves coordinating with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with API RP 4G standards, and overseeing fabrication, installation, survey and repairs at both subcontractor and client facilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in an Engineering discipline (Civil/structural or mechanical).
• Five (5) + years experience in structural and/or piping fabrication and repairs.
• Five (5) + years’ experience working on oil drilling rigs (onshore and offshore).
• American Welding Society – Certified Welding Inspector is a plus.
• ASNT Level II or III or CSWIP 3.1 or higher is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, any 3-D software is a plus.
• Ability to read piping one-line and isometric drawings.
• Ability to work for long periods in extreme environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise structural and piping components on site.
• Provide drafting/engineering support to the Engineering Department.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on site issues.
• Prepare BOMs and replacement materials after site visits.
• Assist in project engineering activities and API inspections.
• Mentor less experienced service engineers.
