Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Architecture & Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis for F&B, retail, hospitality, fit-out, and commercial projects, collaborating with architects, interior designers, BIM teams, and project managers to deliver safe and innovative structural solutions.

You will support both new developments and renovations while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with structural focus; master's degree an asset.
5–10 years of structural engineering experience.
Experience in F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality, commercial, and fit-out projects.
Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
Saudi Building Code knowledge; GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural systems for F&B, retail, hospitality, and commercial fit-out.
Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate with BIM teams, architects, and MEP engineers.
Review layouts and provide practical structural solutions during design.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and structural calculations.
Ensure compliance with SBC, international standards, and safety regulations.
Support planning, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives.
