Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Structural/Civil BIM Modeler to develop and manage complex BIM models for structural and civil components. You will coordinate with architecture and MEP teams to ensure integrated, constructible designs, while maintaining high accuracy and alignment with BIM standards.

The role requires 4–8 years of BIM modeling experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks, and knowledge of reinforcement detailing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in structural or civil BIM modeling.
• Strong experience in building structures and/or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of reinforcement detailing for concrete/steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
• Saudi/GCC codes knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with BIM 360 or similar CDE platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for structural and civil components (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, steel structures).
• Model civil elements such as roads, utilities, grading, drainage, and related networks.
• Prepare shop drawings, reinforcement drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks to ensure conflict-free design.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams for integrated, constructible models.
• Ensure compliance with BEP and ISO 19650 and BIM standards.
