Qualifications

• One year of experience in the operation of heavy and specialized automotive equipment.
• OR successful completion of a Commercial Driver's License training program.
• OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives and operates single and double axle trucks, rubber tired and skid steer loaders, boom trucks and roll offs.
• Loads and unloads materials and equipment.
• Operates snow plow and salt spreader to maintain streets.
• Loads materials into other vehicles.
• Compacts dirt.
• Grades and levels ball fields.
• Digs up asphalt and concrete.
• Performs pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains department vehicles and equipment.
• May perform welding.
• May perform manual labor on projects.
